10/22 upgrades? help a newbie out!

just got my first 10/22 and man, it's a blast! i see why folks love these rifles. it's decent as is, but i wanna add some personal touch without going crazy at first. what small mods or upgrades really made a difference for you? any advice on what i should tackle first? thanks y'all!

The first upgrade that made a big difference for me was the auto bolt release. It seems like such a tiny detail, but not having to struggle with the bolt every time made my shooting sessions feel so much smoother. I also threw in an extended magazine release, and it felt a bit like cheating compared to the stock one. Swapping out mags became easy, and I could do it without losing my grip. It just made everything so much more enjoyable.
