I’m looking for a versatile shotgun that can handle just about anything. Do you have any recos for a solid model around the $1500 mark?

I'd definitely go with the Benelli M2 Field. I've used it for everything from dove hunting to trudging through muddy duck blinds, and it’s never let me down. It has this cool inertia-driven system, which makes it lighter and way easier to clean compared to gas guns. It truly feels like an extension of your arm. Whether I'm smashing clays or sneaking up on birds, the "point-and-shoot" vibe just clicks. It's a reliable companion in the field, and I can't recommend it enough.

If I were to recommend, it would have to be the Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol. I’ve had mine for a good while, and it’s one of those guns that feels just as natural on the range as it does in the field. It’s soft on the recoil, cycles without a hitch, and has a robust design that doesn’t feel bulky at all. I’ve used it for a range of activities, from home defense drills to breaking clays and even some spontaneous hunting trips
