If I go ahead and pick up a .458 suppressor, will it actually be able to quiet down .38cal bullets as well? Just trying to figure out how all of this works!
If you’re just trying things out or need a single suppressor that can handle different cals, you can make it work. But if you really want to hit that sweet spot of performance, matching your suppressor to the specific cal is definitely the way to go.

You can use a .458 suppressor with a .38, but just know that it’s not the ideal choice. It’s safe and flexible, but it doesn’t really excel at reducing sound.
